About the host and the home
About the host: My name is Lucas, and I am born and raised in Denmark. The Townhouse is my permanent residence, and I rent it out on Airbnb to fund my own travels and vacations. I hope you enjoy and take care of my home as much as I do. Welcome to Copenhagen!
About the home: The Townhouse is a modern house inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian architecture built in 2016, seamlessly integrated into 20th-century buildings originally used for maintenance and service in the Danish maritime industry. The brick walls surrounding the house are from an old smithing workshop. Situated in Nordhavn, a neighbourhood in Copenhagen, The Townhouse blends historical charm with contemporary design. Nordhavn, or the North Harbour, has transformed from an industrial port into a vibrant, sustainable urban area. It is now renowned for its cutting-edge architecture, innovative urban planning, and a thriving creative scene.
